Vincent van Gogh

My learning goal was to be able to collect data and make it in my own words. I liked learning about Vincent van Gogh ,but It was hard getting my presentation right. We had to choose two artists and we learnt that artist aren’t just painters and drawers.   

Adrenilin- Dinghy Racing

My learning goal was being able to use descriptive words. First we watched a clip this one was about dinghy racing then we brainstormed all the main points and ideas and then write down. I liked writing it because I had so many ideas popping in my head. I found it hard editing but I am getting better at it.

Nelson Mandela - Fighting for Justice

Reflection
My learning was to read a journal and make a visual poster. My visual poster is about Nelson Mandela. It was hard getting all the information from the book  the paper and then making it into my own words. It was fun making it look fancy but I did make some mistakes on the way. Nelson Mandela was a great leader and has inspired many people.

Inquiry Term 2

My learning goal was being able to take data and write it in our own words.We had to present our writing in exciting ways. We were learning that artists don't just paint or draw. We all chose two artists. I choose Dan Reynolds (lead singer in Imagine Dragons) and Vincent van Gogh (painter). We had to make sure we did not plagiarise.

I enjoyed seeing all and planning my work so it looks great. I found it hard to edit all my work so it was ready to go on the wall.

Hi my name is Blake. I live in rural Gisborne with my parents and 2 brothers. I go to Matawai school my class is Room 4. I like to play rugby and hockey. I am year 6. I like P.E, tec and maths. We have 6 dogs and a cat.
My goals are to be able to edit with ease because I am struggling with it. I like P.E and woodwork tec. At the moment I’m saving for our school camp to Wellington.
I am looking forward to my first school camp to Wellington.While we are there we are going on a ferry to Picton for a day. I'm liking the winter sports. I’m playing hockey and rugby When I grow up I want to be an Entomologist.
