Respect

Respect means to be kind to one another and treat other people the way you want to be treated.  If you are not kind to other people they will not be kind back to you. Even if they make you very angry just walk away don't be mean back. Respect also means that if somebody is in need e.g hurt Go and help them because that is the time they really need it.

Respect is also associated at school like not talking back to teachers and Using your manners. at school, you need to respect other people and their property. At school, there are a lot of people around you and all the small kind things you do to be nice to help the other people and they will start being nice back to you.

Do not litter When in the bush. The wildlife in New Zealand very unique like the tuatara the only living dinosaur. But if we do not respect nature and litter, these amazing animals will become extinct. Scientists are already finding plastic everywhere even the bottom of the ocean and 1 third of seabirds will have a piece of plastic in their stomach and they will die. And we can not have this happen to our native animals. So always respect nature.

Respect can be very simple like opening a door for someone or helping them carry something heavy. So always respect and soon the kindness will come trailing back to you!

  1. Kia ora Blake,
Great work, I can see your understanding of respect. Your poster is bright and bold and I would definitely read your poster. I think that you hit all of the marks. A little tip for editing, puntuation, full stops and capital letters in the middle of sentences.

This is really cool and I enjoyed reading your perspective on what respect means.
I can see that you are really passionate about the wildlife and are really fascinated by it. I like your use of images, especially the respect is a two way street one...

Great work Blake, keep it up...
